From the Nunthorpe Academy
A high-performing 11–19 academy, Nunthorpe Academy is a part of Nunthorpe Multi Academy Trust (NMAT), and it takes pleasure in the support and direction it provides to each of its pupils.
The cherished beneficial interactions between faculty and students are at the heart of our culture, and we take pride in our welcoming and purposeful environment.
In order to further develop and raise the "aspirations" of all students at the Academy, we encourage the opinions of all of our stakeholders. We think that success is achieved via partnerships between parents, faculty, and students.
In order to promote students' academic performance, high-quality classroom practises are essential, thus we make sure that both teaching and non-teaching staff members participate in serious reflection and collaborative training as part of our effort to make additional improvements.
Although there is a strong academic foundation to our curriculum, we also have the flexibility to provide a variety of vocationally related programmes.
Our GCSE and A Level scores are among the best in the region, and this has improved our position as the lead school for the North East Schools Training Alliance, which trains future teachers.
Nunthorpe Academy serves as much than just a classroom for our young people.
Nearly 2,000 members of our community use Nunthorpe Learning and Leisure to enjoy our sporting and recreational facilities as well as to advance and enhance their own education and skill sets.
We invite you to stop by, meet our staff and students, and get a sense of what daily life is like at Nunthorpe Academy.
