Please take the time to come see us so that you can share in the unique experience of Northwood College for Girls.
I am a member of an incredible group of educators who work tirelessly to create a centre of excellence. We are all inspirational, progressive, and fiercely committed.
Every class and extracurricular activity is created to mould, motivate, and build our young women's best future.
We provide our pupils the tools they need to face the difficulties outside of the classroom with desire, boldness, and self-assurance.
We instruct our young ladies on how to think clearly, critically, analytically, artistically, and ultimately to become masters of agile and critical thinking.
I appreciate all the effort put out by Northwood College.
We are a part of the network of twenty-five schools that make up the Girls' Day School Trust (GDST), and we firmly support and believe in the GDST's core values: to always put the needs of the girls first; to act fearlessly and with conviction; to be forward-thinking, embrace change, and adequately prepare our girls for the future; and to enjoy the benefits of belonging to a true "family" of schools.
The GDST is the largest education charity in the UK and ensures that girls have the opportunity to participate in a variety of scholarships, competitions, awards, and prizes as well as benefit from a spectrum of GDST learning initiatives, training, seminars, and workshops; and that our teachers benefit from the most recent educational resources, training, and support network. The GDST has an outstanding track record in educational innovation and academic excellence.
Our students are GDST "girls for life," giving them access to more than 70,000 alumni and an understanding of a wide range of professions.
We are committed to offering unmatched further education and career advice, guidance, support, and opportunities that are focused on ensuring that our girls continue on to study the most demanding courses at the most prominent universities and ultimately follow the most advantageous professional routes.
Young women will require more than just strong test scores if they are to succeed in our quickly changing environment.
Our goal is for every girl to graduate from high school with a sound intellect and emotional stamina.
We provide the knowledge and skills necessary for each student to think bravely, ambidextrously, confidently, and with conviction.
Our well-proven emotional resilience programme pushes the girls beyond of their comfort zones and gives them the tools they need to deal with problems in the future with self-assurance, authenticity, and assertiveness.
We are confident that a contented child will succeed and we are thrilled to know that she will develop lifelong friendships in a setting where she consistently feels safe, appreciated, and respected.
I'm proud of our friendly, caring community, where the girls and teachers encourage one another and celebrate each other's accomplishments. I have no doubt that our girls will graduate from high school with the interpersonal skills they need to continue forming deep connections throughout their lives.
We share the ideals and goals of our parents and always put the needs of our girls first. We also think that a strong school/parent partnership is crucial.
We were thrilled to get the accolades "Excellent in every area" in our most recent education inspection report and a schoolguide.co.uk review rating of 5 stars.

This school has a very clear and obvious double standard: where many pupils are often treated as "less than" in the eyes of SLT. For the majority of the time I have spent here, I had to watch students endure SLT forgetting/mispronouncing their names (despite the students' vast contributions to the community and consistently correcting SLT). In addition, I saw the prominent preferential treatment of certain students (who were far more likely to avoid punishment...
Awful school and not only was it a waste of money but very distressing to our daughters...disgusting!! The senior management team very negative about what both our daughters are likely to achieve and categorically said to lower our expectations. No help was provided and no guidance. In fact at a meeting we the parents were told off by the senior management team when questioned why any concerns were not flagged up to us earlier. At...
