From the New River College Primary
In the London Borough of Islington, there are three Pupil Referral Units (PRU) that work together to form New River College. With a satellite centre at Elthorne Road for students with social, emotional, and behavioural challenges, the Secondary PRU is located at Lough Road. While the Medical PRU offers services at the Whittington Hospital and Elthorne Road and also offers home schooling where necessary, the Primary PRU is headquartered in our Cloudesley Square location. In order to sustain a student's enrollment in their regular school, or, in the event that this has already failed, to make a return to regular school as soon as is practical, New River College strives to offer short-term educational interventions.
