Serving the neighbourhood and its neighbouring areas is a priority at Nevill Road Junior School.
It acknowledges the multiethnic, multireligious, and dynamic nature of the United Kingdom and the people it serves.
As an inclusive environment, the school admits students of all religions and no faiths who are entitled to an education under British law.

While it is not required for schools or individuals to "encourage" ideas that differ from their own, it is also unacceptable for schools to support prejudice against individuals or groups based on their background, beliefs, or opinions.
The school works to uphold these standards through a variety of initiatives and employs techniques outside the scope of the National Curriculum to ensure that the students receive the proper results.

As a "community school," "collective worship" is nondenominational and acknowledges that attendees may practise a variety of religions or none at all.
Religious Education: Increasing one's knowledge of the various religious traditions and practises, including the major faiths that are represented in the UK.
The "Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education" guides subject planning.
