Thank you for visiting Netley Abbey Infant School. Being the headteacher of this outstanding school makes me proud. At Netley Abbey Infant School we believe that all our children are unique, special and have different talents. Our curriculum, which is built around the concept of learning being an adventure, has been developed to ensure that these are recognised, fostered, developed and used to help our children learn. Each Learning Adventure is designed to be entertaining, inspiring, engaging, and based on real-world events. We think that ALL kids should have access to the greatest education available. This includes the right to learn, improve their health, and become a valuable member of the community. We all have a duty to make sure that everyone else gets the chance to grow in these virtues as well. The word together in our vision and values (Together we can CLIC) is very significant as we believe that there needs to be a shared responsibility in supporting our children to achieve our vision. This means we work closely with the local community, including parents and carers, governors, pre-schools, other schools in the Hamble School cluster, local community groups and the parish council. We firmly believe that the school should serve as the hub of the neighbourhood, and we are working to make this a reality. I hope your online experience on our website has been or will be enjoyable. But of course this only gives you a flavour of us and our school, there is nothing like coming and experiencing it for real, so please contact the school office and arrange a visit.
