It is a school which has high achievement and high standards and a place where children enjoy learning. The school is well-liked by the locals and has a welcoming and caring culture. The school also has an Integrated Resource with places for pupils with learning difficulties and complex needs, who are included in the daily life of the school. The school provides the children with a broad and balanced curriculum which is supplemented by many additional activities including a large orchestra, sports teams, a range of clubs on offer, residential visits from Year 4 and an opportunity for every child to perform in a drama production every year. The school aims to develop the whole child within an environment which is caring, calm, purposeful and happy and one which respects others and recognises individual needs. At Nether Green Junior School we aim to provide a learning environment in which our pupils are valued and begin to develop the skills that, in the future, will enable them to be valuable citizens in the society in which they live and work.
