Between the cities of Gillingham and Shaftesbury, Motcombe Church of England Primary School is a prosperous local school surrounded by stunning North Dorset scenery. The school is centred on the historic Victorian school building, which has been supplemented by a contemporary school hall that is nicely furnished and five classrooms. There are plenty of resources in each classroom, and many outdoor learning areas are accessible. There are large grounds with a playground for children, a place for little games, a netball court, a stage outside, a garden for meditation, and an outdoor school. The school owns a sizable field that is utilised for athletics, summer games, tag rugby, running, and football. Our kids love the numerous possibilities they have to compete against students from other schools in festivals and sporting events. The school has a skilled and passionate team that is committed to giving every student the best education possible while also fostering their gifts and abilities as a "whole child." In order to provide meaningful and engaging learning experiences while maintaining high standards through high expectations, our unique approach to the curriculum starts with the kid. In order to improve the learning opportunities for our students, we provide a variety of extracurricular activities during lunchtime and after school, private and group music lessons, and a variety of cluster activities in collaboration with other nearby schools. At Motcombe Primary School, we take pleasure in our Christian ethos and work hard to spread the ideals of our Christian faith throughout daily life. Our solid relationships with the local church and community help kids learn about and comprehend our beliefs. We hope that our children will carry these ideals with them into the rest of their life.
