Torrisholme Community Primary School is a popular urban primary school serving Torrisholme 'village' and the surrounding area between Lancaster and Morecambe. The school was constructed in 1962 and has seven classrooms, a hall, enough hard play areas, and a large, lovely field. Since then, eight additional classrooms and an ICT suite have been created due to the rising demand for spots. Part of the school was remodelled in 2003 to provide additional specialist accommodation to support the needs of disabled children and adults. The kids are raised in households that appreciate and encourage education. This creates a setting where innovative teaching and learning may occur, together with the good ethos that the school actively promotes. OFSTED suggested that 'the happiness and contentment of pupils is clearly evident in their enthusiasm to attend and the wonderful atmosphere in the school.' The curriculum was praised as being "excellent," and its enrichment was called "memorable and entertaining."
