According to The Department for Education, we actively promote British values in schools to make sure that kids leave school prepared for life in modern-day Britain. Children might study past civilizations or learn about the evolution of democracy and how it affected modern-day Britain. Students are continually reminded of the importance of laws and regulations over the course of a typical school day, whether they pertain to the class, the school, or the country. Students are instructed on the value of laws, their rationale, how they govern and protect us, the responsibilities that come with this, and the penalties for disobeying the law. Because they understand that they are making selections in a safe and supportive environment, children are actively encouraged to make choices at our school. By providing a safe environment and a properly planned curriculum, we as a school set boundaries for our kids' ability to make decisions securely. We encourage students to understand, respect, and exercise their rights and personal freedoms, for instance, through our e-Safety lessons and PSHE lectures. Additionally, students are given guidance on how to do it safely. This is achieved by offering kids the chance to interact with a variety of ethnic groups in their neighbourhood and by assisting them in better understanding how they fit into a society that cherishes diversity. The learning in RE and PSHE that follows the assemblies and conversations on prejudice will help and support them. Every year, prominent non-Christian religions are studied in all academic areas. Similar to this, we used occasions like the Olympics and Paralympics to learn about other people's lives, cultures, and religions.
