The Mead School is a joyful, energetic setting where all kids are given the opportunity to dream, strive for success, and celebrate.
Near Trowbridge, Wiltshire, we are a sizable split-site school.
The Mead School students are delightful.
Our goal is for our kids to develop into amazing young people who are equipped with the knowledge and values needed to become kind and tolerant citizens and actively participate in their neighbourhood.
In order to ensure that learning is sequenced in a logical and progressive fashion and is founded upon a variety of high quality children's texts, our curriculum has been devised to be entertaining and engaging.
We take great satisfaction in our broader curriculum and the variety of enrichment programmes we provide to our students, with particular strengths in the arts, music, and personal development.
With Mrs. Lyssy Bolton as the head teacher, the Mead Community Primary School opened its doors in September 2001 to serve the Paxcroft Mead housing estate in Trowbridge.
Nearly 550 kids are currently housed in 19 courses between our two locations.
In July 2011, The Mead Community Primary School was designated as a Teaching School.
In May 2012, we changed to an academy status and resumed operations under the The Mead Community Primary School brand.
Currently, Miss Emma Holton is the head of The Mead Community Primary School, and Mrs. Lyssy Bolton serves as the executive head teacher of The Mead Academy Trust.
