Our Executive Headteacher is Dr. Nick Rudman, and our Head of School is Mrs. Clare James. The Mayland, Althorne, and Steeple villages were served by our first school, which was constructed in 1877. Prior to 1990, the school was housed in a Victorian structure outside of the village that met the needs of the neighbourhood. A new school was constructed in Mayland's centre due to an increase in student enrollment. Our school's unique design was inspired by the traditional elements of an Essex malting, which is frequently seen along the Blackwater river. Two additional classes were added to the extension in 2008. Our goal is to help each kid reach their greatest potential while fostering their spiritual, moral, social, and cultural growth. We want our kids to grow up to be successful, happy, and healthy. We also want them to love learning together and recognise the necessity of keeping morals and values. Encourage the development of manners, courtesy, and consideration for others in our kids. Prepare our students for the obligations and experiences of life in the UK and the rest of the globe.
