I'm excited to welcome you to Manor CE Academy in my capacity as the principal.
Manor has a proud past, having helped York's youth since 1812.
We are a Church of England academy, and everything we do is governed by, influenced by, and supported by our Christian principles.
We are a distinguished university with a stellar academic record.
In 2017, 83% of students received grades 9–4 in math and English on the Basics standard assessment, which is roughly similar to the previous A*–C. For Basics Strong, 66% of students earned grades 9–5 in math and English, which is likely to be much higher than the predicted national average of 39% (by 27% more).
We just assumed the responsibilities of a National Support School, and as the core of the Ebor Hope Teaching Schools Alliance, we are preparing the next generation of educators.
We are fortunate to have cutting-edge facilities and loving families, but our most outstanding assets are the more than 1,000 brilliant students and the 140 exceptionally talented teachers and support staff.
"Serve others, grow together, and enjoy life to the fullest" is our motto for all of our students and employees.
