I've worked with local governments in Stockport and across the nation, so I'm thrilled to be able to apply that knowledge to support the fantastic Ludworth team.
The Ludworth staff is fully devoted to the ideals I am passionate about, which include making sure our educational system is the greatest it can be and giving kids the best possible start in life.

I'm honoured to have been chosen as a Ludworth governor.
Since I have a daughter enrolled at Ludworth, I am aware of the significant contributions made by all parents to the school's achievement.
I want to use my co-opted term to make sure that the school's curriculum continues to be interesting and demanding for all students, and that each one graduates with a passion for learning.
the period from 1 April 2019 to 31 March 2023. Community link governor, member of the pay and appraisal committee, and chair of the resources committee Being the daughter of the local grocer, I was born in Marple and have spent the majority of my life there.
I am thrilled to be the Community Governor of Ludworth and happy to be involved in or support all our local activities whether it be Marple Carnival or some local sporting or fun event.
I have lived in Marple Bridge for 5 years now and have really come to love the vibrant and friendly local community as well as the stunningly picturesque village.
I have a young daughter who is nearly 2 now and keeps me on my toes and as she does so does my interest in education and I am so excited to be able to play a part in ensuring our young people are given the very best start in life at Ludworth.
I am already so impressed with what I have seen at the school, and the dedication of the teaching and support staff and the serving governors is just phenomenal.
I'm so looking forward to working with everyone and hopefully continuing to drive things at the school forwards in a positive way.
For my day job I work as a part time GP in nearby Hyde and I'm certain this type of challenging yet rewarding work will stand me in good stead as your new governor.
When I have any free time (which is rarely!) I love martial arts and have a black belt in karate and I am also partial to relaxing with a good book.
Term of office: 17 December 2018 - 16 December 2022 Member of Teaching, Learning & Standards Committee; SEND link governor I am very pleased to have been elected Parent Governor at Ludworth.
I have two children who attend the school, currently in Year 5 and Year 3 and we moved to the area two years ago.
Our children settled very quickly and love school and them being at Ludworth has had a very positive impact on the whole family.
I wanted to join the Governing Body as I am passionate about education and I want to support other parents and their families in the local community as we have been supported.
