From the The Loyne Specialist School
For many years, The Loyne has been a pioneering institution in the creation of specialised offerings. Since 2008, we have received recognition for excellence. As an outward-looking school, we embrace the shared responsibility for the larger SEND community through our research, School to School support, and training in order to maximise the life prospects for all of our students. Our goal is summed up in our mission statement, "Working Together, Valuing Achievement." "Working together" emphasises the enthusiasm of our employees for a cooperative approach to creating support and provision by beginning with positive relationships with parents, carers, families, therapists, and professionals. "Valuing achievement" highlights our focus on the minor details and the respect we have for our students' successes in every area of their lives as they individually show their individual potential. We view and treat each of our students as an individual. We offer challenge and promote resilience in our welcoming, safe, and stimulating environment. To ensure that we satisfy the requirements of the complete child, our curriculum is flexible and broad. To help each student succeed, we urge them to be as independent, thoughtful, and creative as they can be. We want to make sure that whatever we do will benefit them in the future. I wish you well in using and being inspired by the information on this website. The website has a variety of sections that cover the majority of school activities and should give you a sense of our culture and offerings. Please feel free to get in touch with the school if you need any more details or would want to stop by for a casual chat or visit. By previous agreement, you are more than welcome to visit and meet the faculty and staff at work.
