I hope it gives you a sense of the Loreto Catholic Girls' Grammar School neighbourhood.
The excellent Loreto School has 1050 pupils and 100 employees.
In fact, in 2010 we commemorated both the School Centenary and the 400th anniversary of Mary Ward's foundation of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Such a legacy serves as motivation for the School's future and our work with the young ladies under our care.
At a time when the English educational system is undergoing significant change, we take pride in the comprehensive curriculum we offer. This curriculum is dynamic, meticulously prepared, and regularly evaluated to meet the needs of the girls at every Key Stage.
We are quite proud of our global setting: we are a member of a network of more than 120 Loreto schools with 70,000 students around the world, and we have close ties to many of our sister institutions in other countries, such as India, Australia, Germany, and Spain.
I'd sum it up like this: We give our daughters a variety of educational opportunities that will assist you in moulding their beliefs, values, attitudes, and sacramental life as parents.
Above all, as a Loreto school, we strive to develop young Catholic women who will assume leadership roles in our community, country, and even the world. These are courageous women who are aware of the needs of others and dedicated to improving the world; in Mary Ward's words, they will be "No half women" and take "no half measures."
