From the Lockyer's Middle School
Part of the Wimborne Academy Trust, Lockyer's Middle School is a thriving pyramid of elementary, middle, and high schools in the Corfe Mullen neighbourhood. Before entering upper school at the end of Year 8, when they are 13 years old, our children join us in Year 5, when they are 9 years old, and make the crucial transition from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3. Our goal is for our kids to grow up to be well-motivated, self-assured learners who are capable of meeting the highest standards while also serving as excellent role models. We work hard to offer a rich and varied curriculum that is complemented by a variety of extracurricular activities. The school community is a secure and engaging setting where staff members are dedicated to promoting a love of learning and support and nurture the needs of individual students. We recognise the contribution the entire school community makes to upholding our students' high standards and take pleasure in upholding good connections with parents and the larger school community. I'd like to invite you to spend some time on our website learning more about our school, and I'd be delighted to take the time to welcome parents, potential parents, and members of the neighbourhood community to school.
