"The atmosphere at the school is quite joyful. There are numerous opportunities throughout the school day for kids to hone their artistic and dramatic talents. Exceptionally well-run school with a charming, passionate, and compassionate head teacher. Lots of assistance for both parents and kids." - Parent. We fervently believe in each special child and have the highest hopes for them to succeed. In order to ensure that every child succeeds, we work hard as a team with our families to overcome obstacles. Good relationships at all levels are the foundation of our entire philosophy, and we work to establish an unbroken chain of quality and nurturing from the time a child enters Littletown. We want everyone who interacts with our staff to know how much we care. We also place a high importance on justice, honesty, equality, determination, belonging, resilience, responsibility, integrity, and compassion. Our Littletown curriculum layers each of these. Our curriculum is precise and in-depth since mixed-age programmes require a customised approach. We make sure that all of our staff members are aware of what is expected of them in terms of instruction, achievement, progression, and assessment so that we can all work together toward shared objectives. We are driven to succeed as a team, as evidenced by our Investors in People Gold award. We wish our teaching to be creative and teachers have the flexibility and autonomy but this is with a clear focus on good outcomes for all. Our teaching fosters a love for learning for all with planning which works backwards from the point at which each pupil should reach at the end of the academic year. We set high expectations for all tackling misconceptions as they arise. We focus on the unique child and their voice and experience drives us forward.
