From the Lionwood Junior School
We received a "excellent" grade from OFSTED in March 2016. We work to make learning fascinating and engaging so that all kids succeed. Our OFSTED grade has not led to a culture of laxity. Instead, we keep working to enhance that educational experience for our kids. Every opportunity for teaching is taken advantage of by the staff, and it is this unrelenting quest of quality that guarantees that no kid is left behind. We become a teaching school in July 2017. This implies that in order to prepare future teachers and leaders, we now collaborate with schools outside of our Trust. As a result, we have been able to increase the capability of our personnel and "develop our own" future leaders. The Lionwood Teaching School is sponsored by LIANS, information about which can be found at www.lionwoodteachingschool.co.uk. The learning atmosphere at Lionwood is vibrant and diverse, and we are proud of both of these aspects of our curriculum. Please schedule an appointment with the school office if you are thinking about Lionwood for your kid. You don't have to wait until "Open Day." Please come and take a look around our beautiful school; guests are always welcome.
