The Links Primary School admissions are handled by the local authority. Reception's published admission number is 30. Places will be distributed in the order listed below if the school is oversubscribed, that is, if there are more applicants for The Links than there are open spots. Students who are in the custody of the local authorities, or a child who was previously looked after but was subject to an adoption, child arrangements, or special guardianship order immediately after being looked after. Three students with special needs who are undergoing a statutory evaluation and have been designated as needing a "named" mainstream school. 6 students who must attend the school for unique social or medical reasons. A letter from the child's GP or other relevant professional such as a social worker must be submitted by you with the application stating why your child's needs can only be met by attending the preferred school/. The LA's published Primary & Secondary booklets for parents for Admission in September 2020 will include the aforementioned criteria.
