I'd like to extend a hearty welcome to The South Downs School, which Ofsted has rated as exceptional. For students with considerable, complicated needs, there is a special school called South Downs. Along with our amazing staff team, it is a pleasure and a privilege to be able to manage this exceptional school. We appreciate our relationships with parents and carers and work together with them to provide inspiring learning opportunities and guarantee exceptional long-term results for every individual student. We provide a wide range of engaging events for our students so they can study, have fun, and give back to the larger community. Our skills-based, developmental curriculum at South Downs places a strong emphasis on fostering independence, wellbeing, and learning outside of the traditional classroom. We support a variety of types of inclusion, and because of our efforts to advance children's rights, we are honoured to hold the UNICEF Silver Award for Rights Respecting Schools. For spiritual, moral, social, and cultural (SMSC) education, we have a gold quality mark. If you would like a visit or printed copies of any Trust or school documents or policies, please get in touch with the school offices (information below).
