From the Leedon Lower School
Over 40 years ago, we started as a Mother and Toddler group, and in 1992, we registered with Ofsted.
Prior to September 2012, when Leedon Lower School took over management of the pre-school and changed our name from Brooklands Pre-school Playgroup to Leedon's Little Learners, we were an independent committee-run setting.
Regardless of whether they are potty trained or not, children can begin at the age of two with a minimum of two sessions each week.
Some kids might be qualified for two-year-old funding beginning with the term after their second birthday.
The government's website, www.childcarechoices.gov.uk, has more information.
In accordance with our admissions policy, we give spots in the order of birthdate.
You are always invited to come in and talk about your child's progress at any time. We have parent and carer consultations throughout the year.
For damp outdoor play, your child will also want a pair of branded wellies for preschool.
The kids can use a variety of waterproof pants and jackets that we have.
Starting in September 2017, we will charge $2.50 per hour for children under 2.
Two-year-olds can sign up for a 2 hour session for $9 or a 3 hour session for $13.50.
The entire session fee must be paid during the half-term for which it is assessed.
After your child turns three, the government will pay for up to 15 hours of childcare per week.
Under specific conditions, some 2-year-old children may also qualify for funding of up to 15 hours per week.
Children aged 3 and 4 who have working parents may qualify for the new 30 hours grant.
You must reapply for the cash every three months and can do so on the website.
We share the same Ofsted registration number, 109509, now that we are a member of Leedon Lower School.
Our most recent Ofsted inspection took place on April 3, 2014.
