Being the Headteacher of St. Leonard's Church of England Primary School is an honour. A main Church of England school, ours will enrol 45 students in the Reception Class as of September 2018. We are located in Langho on Whalley Road and provide services to the nearby towns of Langho, Billington, and Brockhall. The institution was established in 1873, and the Christian values that guided its founding are still significant today. We have strong ties to the St. Leonard's parish. Children enjoy learning and playing together at our cheerful school. We acknowledge the individuality of each child, and the entire faculty works hard to help each student realise his or her full potential in all facets of school life. We are committed to making sure that every student leaves our school with the essential fundamental abilities needed to prepare them for further learning, particularly strong reading, writing, and arithmetic abilities. The needs of each child are taken into account when personalising the learning process. As a result, we can offer every kid a safe and welcoming atmosphere. As you can see from the photos, we are fortunate to have a fantastic indoor and outdoor setting for teaching and learning. We are also able to offer a range of extracurricular opportunities and are always open to further ideas! Sharing children's talents, no matter what they may be, is always encouraged. We give kids lots of chances to succeed in sports and pick up a variety of musical instruments. You can get a sense of our school's offerings via this website, but it would be best if you visited in person to see for yourself. Please ring for an appointment and I would be very proud to show you around.
