From the Langham Village School
Here at Langham Village School, we think that the most successful schools are those where everyone is appreciated and originality and difference are celebrated. We work hard to create a joyful environment and to offer a secure, loving setting where kids can gain confidence and be motivated to cultivate a lifelong love of learning. A place for enjoyment, creativity, camaraderie, ambition, and learning is Langham Village School. We presently have 4 classrooms and 86 students, which allows us to teach children in small groups with a high adult-to-student ratio. We have a group of skilled, imaginative, and committed employees who assist and encourage all of our kids. The school has earned the Sainsbury's School Sports Gold Award and consistently triumphs in sporting competitions in North Norfolk and Cluster. Outdoor learning is a strong feature of the curriculum with every child accessing regular Forest School sessions on site and many opportunities to visit and learn about the unique environment of the North Norfolk Coast. We are a listening school, and every week, all of the students participate in Circle meetings. Everyone has the chance to participate in decision-making during these meetings and have their opinions heard. Our older kids are in charge of recording the minutes of the meetings. Whatever their starting points, the institution helps its students reach their greatest potential. Many students at Langham perform well compared to local and national norms because of the school's high expectations for its students. Our most recent Ofsted inspection was Outstanding (November 2011) and we continue to work hard to uphold these high standards.

The school’s commitment to high standards, alongside its emphasis on well-being and community involvement, makes it a highly regarded choice for families seeking a high-quality education in a supportive and close-knit setting. In my experience staff go above and beyond to make learning fun and memorable. Any issues that arise are dealt with appropriately. Such a shining example for learning and teaching.
