Welcome to Lane Green First School, where "Caring and Achieving" is part of our mission statement. Care is at the core of everything we do at Lane Green First School. We have a strong conviction that our school's caring culture will enable all students to attain their full potential and be completely equipped for the next phase of their education as well as the future. The staff at Lane Green First School collaborates to create a joyful, engaging, and safe learning environment where each person is respected. Our school prides itself on being inclusive, and we respect the contribution we provide to the neighbourhood. At this school, students learn to love learning and treat one another with respect. These are necessary components to ensuring that everyone realises the school's slogan, "Caring and Achieving." As a one-form entry school, Lane Green enrols students in the Reception class in September of the academic year they turn five. Our school also offers a Nursery, which is open to students beginning in September of the academic year in which they turn four and operates every morning and afternoon. In January/April after the child turns three, the school will admit students to Pre-Nursery if spaces are available. Additional 30-hour provisions are available. Please talk to the office about your needs. Both a breakfast club and an after-school club are available at Lane Green First School. The breakfast club is open daily from 8 am to 8:15 am. The school office can give you more information. The school is always open to visitors. Please contact the school office to arrange a convenient appointment.
