Church of England (Voluntary Aided) Primary School: Lady Elizabeth Hastings We are a tiny village school serving students in the age range of 4 to 11 located in the centre of Ledston Village. Twenty children were admitted, and there are currently 131 students enrolled in five mixed-age groups. The school was founded and established by Lady Elizabeth Hastings in the 1720s, and it has a long history. Due to the growing student population, a new building was constructed in Ledston in 1975, replacing the original school that was located in Ledsham. This structure is still in use today. 2010 saw the custom design and construction of The ARK, an early years/key stage 1 learning space, as a result of the school's ongoing success. Church, governors, parents/caregivers, partnership schools, and the surrounding community all strongly support our school. All of them participate regularly in school life. We work hard to highlight the comprehensive learning possibilities provided to our students through our website because we are quite proud of our school. As we listened to the needs and goals of today's kids, staff, governors, and parents in 2019, we reviewed our goals and values.
