From the King Edward VI Grammar School
King Edward's is a particularly unique neighbourhood built on solid familial pillars of friendship and trust.
Over a third of the school is actively involved in music in some way, and we have strong ties to St. James' Church in Louth. Music and a choral tradition continue to be important parts of our community.
Many Ludensians are incredibly proud of their more liberal tradition, which is just one of many.
Our passionate Combined Cadet Force is dedicated to providing leadership opportunities and exceptional life experiences through the Army and RAF: our students actually fly!
Our standards in music and drama are of a professional calibre, and many of our former students have gone on to have successful careers in opera, theatre, and music.
Over 500 students every day travel by bus into our dynamic and bustling community, which includes Louth and its surrounding villages, The Wolds and Horncastle to the south, Mablethorpe to the east, Market Rasen to the west, and Grimsby to the north.
The aptitude of each student matters more at King Edward's than their postcode, vehicle, or religious affiliation.
Please get in touch with my PA Rhona Adam at 01507 600456 or [email protected] to schedule a tour or visit to see the wealth of opportunities and meet some of our sixth formers, who are our finest ambassadors.
