Welcome to the Kents Hill Infant Academy website. Being the head of this loving school, where our wonderful students are at the centre of everything we do, makes me feel incredibly proud. Kents Hill Infant Academy joined a Multi Academy Trust in January 2018. (South Essex Academy Trust). We are one of five schools where the principles of cooperation, tenacity, difficulty, and innovation guide our operations. I have been the substantive Headteacher since the end of February 2019 and feel honoured to occupy this position. Our parents provide strong support for our caring and committed staff at Kents Hill Infants. We value collaboration with parents when working. Along with giving the students the greatest education possible, the school's instructors and administrators work hard to make sure the kids are interested in and involved in what they are studying. Every kid is encouraged to challenge themselves in their subsequent steps, and children are given the authority to direct their own learning. Our school's curriculum is based on Dee Fink's "Significant Learning Model." This makes it possible for us to coordinate the teaching of academic skills with lifetime learning, which is something we believe is crucial for safeguarding our children's futures and preparing them for the modern world. In the Early Years, we also employ a "in the moment planning" paradigm based on Anna Ephgrave's research. This makes sure we can satisfy the needs of every one of our students. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with the school office if you have any inquiries or would like to schedule a visit. Our helpful staff will be pleased to assist you. Please get in touch with us if you need any more information about the school that isn't available on the website.
