I want to extend a very warm welcome to Jenyns School to you. "Our children, our future" is our motto. We want the very best for the children in our care and we have a dedicated and committed team who ensure they all receive the very best education, both academically and socially. We take great pride in the fact that every student is appreciated and cherished for the contributions they make to our school community. We are fortunate to know every member of our school community well because we are a small infant school. Our students are taught in mixed-age classes where they are urged to encourage, support, and motivate one another to learn and advance. Our location is in the picturesque village of Braughing. The neighbourhood community and its surroundings serve as a resource for our education. The history of the school itself dates back to 1710. The first school building was being built as early as 1860. The new school was constructed at the top of the school field in 2004, modernising Jenyns. You may see this right now. Children are welcome at Jenyns from the age of three and a half in the Nursery all the way up to nine in Year 4. As a member of the Buntingford three-tiered system, our school takes pride in its close relationships with the schools in the area.
