No matter where they are coming from, Ibstock Community College thinks all students should have access to the same opportunities as their peers. Our extensive curriculum and enrichment options are the means through which we may accomplish this. At Ibstock, we want all of our students to grow into well-rounded community members who are prepared for their next educational step and beyond. Underpinning our ethos is mutual respect, built from trusting relationships between our staff and students, parents and carers, our governing body, our local community and partner schools. We speak to one another in a cool, courteous, and respectful manner. Every student takes advantage of their learning opportunities. They actively participate in engaging lessons and have a thirst for study, which allows them to gain in-depth subject knowledge. They are urged to be independent by their teachers and support workers, who also provide tailored assistance as needed. They offer comments and suggestions for enhancing and developing further. Teachers across the campus have high standards for behaviour and work in the classroom. Keeping in touch with the parents makes sure that everyone is focused on the same objectives. All students receive excellent treatment, support, and assistance in building resilience and good mental health. They are young people who offer value to the college, their families, and the larger community. They are open-minded, tolerant, and well-informed. Every student benefits from a secure learning environment where any form of antisocial behaviour is constantly challenged. They take good care of the college, utilising the well-kept structures and amenities. They are proud to wear their school uniform and are great ambassadors for our college.
