From the Hounslow Town Primary School
It gives me great pleasure to extend a warm welcome to you at Hounslow Town Primary School.
We are a sizable five-form entry primary school in the heart of Hounslow that just moved into a brand-new facility in September 2018.
We cater to kids from 3 years old (nursery) to 11 years old (Y6).
The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child is well understood by the kids, and our values are promoted through having a common concept of what it means to be a "Hounslow Town Child" and "Hounslow Town Adult."
While Math and Literacy constitute the "skin and bone" of the curriculum, Art, Music, and a schedule of trips and visits are to give "heart and soul." Our comprehensive and balanced curriculum is meant to support children in their futures.
We can now provide food technology thanks to our new school facilities, and we also want to help students learn a variety of life skills, like how to ride a bike.
Additionally, we seek to encourage a feeling of community within our school by encouraging parental involvement.
In order to offer us a sense of community as well as to raise money for the school, a newly formed Parent and Staff Association (PSA) has begun to plan and organise community events.
