Being the headteacher of such a fantastic school makes me incredibly proud. The school community at Homelands is kind, supportive, and close-knit. We value the uniqueness of every child and highlight their talents. We hold everyone to a high standard and work to help every kid reach their greatest potential. At Homelands, education is a fun experience. Our kids learn the abilities and gain the knowledge required to be empowered critical thinkers and lifelong learners through a comprehensive and varied curriculum. We want our kids to be ready for the next phase of their education and to desire to make the world a better place after they graduate from high school. Our school values of friendship, respect, independence, curiosity and empowerment are at the heart of our school life and we believe these enable our children to believe, belong and be proud of themselves, each other and our wider community. We firmly think that when families and schools work together, children learn best. We encourage this by keeping our doors open. We are able to get to know each child as an individual thanks to our collaboration with families, and we urge all parents to get involved in their children's education. The goal of our excellent, committed team of skilled, compassionate, and loving employees is to assure improvement for all of our kids. Being a member of the Homelands community makes me feel honoured. I want the students to leave Homelands having done their utmost best and to reflect back on their time at our school with fond recollections. You may get a feel for Homelands by browsing our website, which I hope you enjoy doing.
