We have a lot of pride in our school. High Ham students are good-natured, respectful, and you can count on them to give it their all at all times. All of the team members—staff, parents, and governors—are incredibly helpful and collaborative. We have a committed group of enthusiastic instructors and support workers working with six classrooms. The spirit at High Ham is summed up in our mission statement, "Discovering, Learning, Believing Together." The PTA provides us with excellent support by raising funds to cover all of the extras that enrich the curriculum. Being a church school, we are very privileged to get weekly guests to participate in Collective Worship as well as frequent visits to the neighbourhood church. The children are well-prepared for a smooth transition into full-time schooling at our on-site pre-school, which has a stellar reputation. Every day from 7.15 am to 6 pm, we offer wraparound care in addition to a wide variety of after-school activities.
