For more than 180 years, the nonprofit organisation Henshaws has provided assistance to persons who are blind or have a variety of other disabilities. enabling impaired persons to surpass expectations and realise their goals will help to decrease social isolation and boost independence. Our committed staff and volunteers are the lifeblood of the organisation; they offer assistance, counsel, and training to enable individuals and their families to gain knowledge, boost their confidence, lend a hand to one another, and look forward to a better future. Our locations include a Specialist College, Supported Housing, Community Centers, and an Arts & Crafts Center. We work all over the North of England. We encourage persons with disabilities to participate in their local communities. Digital Technology is always being improved to support more users online, wherever they may be.
