From the Henley Primary School
Henley Primary School joins the Consortium Multi Academy Trust on September 1 and starts an exciting new chapter. We are committed to offering the same high standard of instruction as we have in the past, and we are eager to collaborate with the other Trust members to grow our School. We are carrying on a 140-year legacy of educating kids in a small community at Henley Primary School. We approach the joys and difficulties that life provides to everyone of us with a positive attitude. Everyone here has a "can do" mentality, and we take great satisfaction in our ability to solve problems. We have a strong understanding of our kids and their families, and we explore our strengths and limitations in a positive, global environment. We encourage a culture of learning from both our accomplishments and mistakes. We welcome open and honest contributions from all members of the school community. Our method of teaching is built upon a solid foundation of philosophical ideas. We support a critical mindset when learning. Children are expected to provide reasoned arguments for their opinions. They question presumptions, build on one another's concepts, and have the ability to employ constructive criticism to advance their thinking. The secret to enhancing the ties that unite us as a society is good manners and respect for everyone. Children have the chance to realise that they have something worthwhile to contribute to the society in which they live. They have the potential to develop into young people who are aware of who they are, respect others, and are receptive to the tremendous opportunities and experiences that life may present.
