Being the headteacher of our tiny rural school, where the kids come first in all we do, makes me proud. The school is set in the heart of the countryside on the Essex/Hertfordshire border, enabling easy access for families living in Stansted, Bishop's Stortford, Newport and surrounding villages. We know our students well because we are a one-form entry school. We place a strong emphasis on attending to each person's requirements within a welcoming and energising environment. We have a strong focus on developing the academic skills of our children; preparing them for the next stage in their learning journey, as well as developing their creative, emotional and social skills through our broad range of additional experiences and after school clubs.
