From the The Heights Primary School
Being the head of The Heights Primary School is a great honour. In September 2014, we welcomed our first three classes of students鈥攖wo Reception and one Year 1鈥攁nd officially inaugurated our new school for the residents of West Caversham. Every September, we welcome two new classes of Reception kids after five fantastic years on our temporary campus. As staff and governors, we are creating a community where each person is respected for their individual abilities and given the opportunity to realise their full potential. We urge the kids to see these qualities in both themselves and other people, and we strongly believe that educating every kid in a moral, cultural, spiritual, social, and physical sense will help them become kind, helpful adults in the complicated society we live in today. Achieving Success Promoting Individual Responsibility & Excellence (ASPIRE) is the motto we live by, and it represents our commitment to giving children lifelong learning opportunities in a nurturing, secure, and fun environment. We put the children's needs and overall wellbeing at the centre of everything we do. We promote civic engagement among our students and instil in them a feeling of personal accountability and value. We are truly enjoying showing potential parents and visitors around the school and look forward to continuing to cultivate close ties with all stakeholders.
