From the earliest ages to the present, know and comprehend the history of these islands as a coherent, chronological narrative, including how people's lives have shaped this country and how Britain has both affected and been influenced by the rest of the globe.

Church, state, and social development in mediaeval Britain (1066鈥�1509)
The examination of a facet or theme in British history that strengthens and broadens students' understanding of the time period up to and including 1066.
At least one research that examines an important global society or issue and how it relates to other global trends.
Students will be evaluated using numerical scales from 3 to 7, which identify skills and knowledge-sharing abilities.
A variety of abilities and information will be tested as part of assessments.
This course offers the chance to examine significant historical occurrences, figures, developments, and problems, particularly those that pertain to the 20th century.

There are four period studies to choose from in section A, each of which focuses on two significant historical events that occurred in a nation over a minimum of 50 years.
Studying Germany from 1890 to 1945.
