At Activity Nursery Hampstead, where I am the nursery manager, I have over 26 years of experience dealing with young children.
I received my NNEB in 1993, and as of 2014, I have had a recognised NVQ Level 4 in childcare.
I have a lot of expertise working with children from birth to age five.
I started off working at another Activity Nursery location before being given the chance to help build up and launch our Hampstead location, which was founded in 2001.
I feel really honoured and happy to be a part of a long-standing, committed team of employees who are passionate about giving our kids not only exceptional care and education, but also a secure, loving atmosphere in which they may develop and learn.
Early Years Care and Education at NVQ Level 3.
At Activity Nursery in Hampstead, I am the Deputy Manager and Group 3 Early Years Practitioner.
In addition to having a BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies with EYFS professional level 2:1 and an Early Years foundation degree, I have over 18 years of experience working with young children.
From nurseries to infant schools, I have worked in a range of settings, giving all children good care and promoting their growth and development.
Each child has a customised profile folder that documents their time spent learning with us. This profile includes reports, daily diaries, and visual proof.
o All about me, which the child's parent(s) or legal guardian fills out.
o The getting to know me phase is over four to six weeks after your child enters the nursery.
o Each reference is made to the appropriate section of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) guidebook.
Every child's daily activities are recorded in a diary that parents can take home to get a glimpse into their child's day.
According to the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage, the nursery complies with the standards for the Early Years Register.
