From the Great Moor Junior School
Recently, our school reevaluated and re-established its core beliefs. We desired values that are distinct and significant, enabling the students at Great Moor Infant School to reach their full potential. After consulting with students, staff, governors, and parents, we've decided on our six core beliefs. The importance of the six values is acknowledged both inside the school community and outside of it in everyday life. Our six values serve as guiding principles for both our thoughts and our actions. They are crucial to helping us maintain a vibrant and supportive school community. The curriculum at the school is extensive, well-balanced, and rich, giving students the knowledge, abilities, and attitudes they need to succeed in our rapidly changing world. To keep them up to date on educational initiatives, teachers participate in ongoing professional development. We are fortunate at Great Moor Infant School to be a part of a network of neighbourhood schools that exchange knowledge and skills. Working in this fashion has given us the chance to encourage learning in both our children and adults. At Great Moor Infant School, we are aware of our obligation to implement safeguards and promote child welfare in accordance with Section 175 of the Education and Inspections Act of 2002. Our school's staff and volunteers play a critical role in identifying warning signs of possible abuse or neglect and in directing those individuals or organisations toward help and action. Everyone who works or volunteers at this school is trained to see warning signals, and they are required to report concerns in accordance with the school's and the local authority's reporting policies. All employees have annual access to training that is updated often during the academic year.
