Welcome to our school website. Gosforth East Middle offers a rich, happy and stimulating environment for children aged 9 to 13 years. We are all very proud of our School and its successes over the years, and hope the information provided on our website and in our prospectus will give you a sense of what we have to offer. In order to achieve this aim we are committed to providing a high quality education for all our pupils within a secure and caring environment, where pupils are valued as individuals, grow in self-esteem and learn respect for others. We have high expectations of our pupils and staff, the most effective resources in education being people. This includes parents, our team of dedicated teachers and excellent learning assistants, who share the responsibility for your child's learning and development. We aim to provide a caring and nurturing environment for every pupil and this, together with the support from home should promote good self-image, self-confidence and self-reliance, thus ensuring each pupil's all round development. Gosforth East Middle School look forward to working together with you to help all our children get the most out of opportunities we provide, and ensure that they maximise their potential.
