We collaborate as a school family, working to care for one another, respect and forgive one another, and inspire one another to be our best selves via the principles that Jesus taught us. The ethos of a school is very significant and is rarely adequately expressed in a single sentence or list. Our ethos, goals, and values are built upon our vision (above), which directs our daily work both inside and outside of our school community. The foundation of all we do at Goldsborough is our ethos. Those who see our school and its pupils in action begin to appreciate the ethos of our school community, the values that guide our interactions and the spirit with which we support each other at work and at play. The enormous mosaic that serves as a visual reflection of our goals and ethos was conceptualised and made by our students. All students at Goldsborough are aware of and able to support our mission and values. Every year, we review our visual goals with the students to ensure that everyone in our school community can contribute significantly to preserving the supportive environment for learning, friendship, and success.
