I'd like to extend a sincere welcome to you to George Street Primary School on behalf of the students, teachers, and governors.
Our school's vision is "Where Learning Comes Alive" because we believe that when students are fully engaged in their learning, they make the greatest advancements. Ideally, every school day should be enjoyable, imaginative, and exciting, with a curriculum created to give all of our students the best start in their lifetime of learning.
We want our students to grow up to be autonomous, self-assured individuals who have faith in their abilities.
In the centre of Hemel Hempstead Old Town, George Street is a community primary school with one form entrance for students between the ages of three and eleven.
The oldest school in Hemel Hempstead, it began operations in November 1855.
The school has a nursery and seven regular classes.
Our PTA, Friends of George Street, also known as "F.O.G.S.S.," works hard to offer a variety of social and fundraising events for kids throughout the year.
