From the Gateway Primary School
Our students (and staff) are joyful, strong, and well-adjusted young people who thrive on moving forward in their academic endeavours. We support "challenging for everyone" in an environment that encourages kids to continue and get over their all-too-familiar "fear of failure." We are dedicated to providing a comprehensive and engaging educational environment for our students. All disciplines are covered in our curriculum through topic-based instruction, which is complemented by field trips and in-class visitors. We provide a variety of activities for our kids to try out since we know they will enjoy learning. Every student at Gateway Primary School is given the opportunity to reach their full potential. We can continue to fulfil the requirements of our individuals as they change and develop over time, across important phases and year groups, by routinely monitoring their development. Our open door policy encourages you to discuss your child's accomplishments and areas for improvement since we think that parent-teacher communication is a crucial component of a child's educational journey. Our students develop into independent learners who take on duties to help our community. Our year six students, who wear black uniforms, pick a head boy and head girl and serve as sports coaches, library helpers, and lunchtime friends for our younger students. Our kids take part in music courses, local sporting events, and our extremely active choir when they're not in class. We think Gateway Primary School is a terrific place to be with frequent activities like the Harvest Festival, Bedtime Reading, and the Christmas Fayre, to name a few.
