From the Gaddesden Row JMI School
We are a tiny country school at the heart of the community, located in rural Hertfordshire. More than half our pupils travel to us from the nearest town, Hemel Hempstead, whilst others come from the surrounding villages. Our talented and dedicated staff team works hard to capitalise on our unique environment, offering high quality and varied opportunities; we also frequently work in partnership with neighbouring small village schools on joint learning ventures. Our children benefit from small class sizes in all year groups, which enables us to tailor our teaching and learning to the individual needs of every child, so we are able to nurture and support all children to reach their potential in their academic, creative, personal, physical, moral and spiritual development. We are very proud of all our children; the school's most recent 'good' Ofsted highlighted our 'courteous, friendly and considerate' pupils. We pride ourselves in having the very highest expectations of all stakeholders and we believe that through working together to further raise standards in every area, we will ensure all pupils will become life-long learners, with developing emotional intelligence and resilience, which will prepare them for exciting and rewarding lives ahead of them .
