From the Forest Hall School
A secondary school with a strong sense of community, Forest Hall School is rather small.
Children are assigned to a form group within a House before they enrol at Forest Hall School.
As part of the induction programme, we demand that all of our students and parents read and sign the Forest Hall School partnership document.
The House system was used to construct Forest Hall School.
All students benefit, in our opinion, from feeling like they belong and are an important and respected part of a group.
The first of them are the Form Tutors, who have daily meetings with their classes and frequently stick with the same class for the duration of their time at Forest Hall.
Form tutors have a lot more responsibilities than just marking the register.
The Form Tutor serves as the primary conduit between the home and the school and informs parents of academic progress.
The Head of House is in charge of monitoring the study, care, and discipline of the students in the House as well as all tutor groups that are part of the House.
If the Head of House is not accessible, a member of SLT who works closely with the Head of House can assist you.
In order to make the students' transition through secondary school as successful and enjoyable as possible, the Head of House and Form Tutors collaborate closely.
The Houses organise a wide range of extracurricular activities, including sporting events, contests, and volunteer work.
Since 2015, Forest Hall School's GCSE results have surpassed both national norms and standards.
We put a lot of effort into ensuring that every student at Forest Hall School is safe, healthy, and making progress.

I liked the fact it was local but I now wish I’d have sent my child elsewhere. The turnover of teaching staff is very high leading to the use of agency teachers who come in, not knowing the children or what level they are at academically resulting in those needing extra help being neglected. Their understanding of some additional needs is poor, Those with Autism or ADHD are treated as a problem, punished for things...
Awful school, rude to the kids. The rules are so ridiculous and the teachers are hypocrits as all female staff are allowed fake eyelashes make up and some even wear dresses and skirts that are way to far up but then shout and discipline and student who has fake eyelashes or a skirt even an inch above the knee, abt 4 teachers in the whole school are somewhat bearable, I don't recommend, they are also...
