Greetings from Fernhurst Elementary School. We are a friendly, caring school located in a stunning natural setting. Working in collaboration with the University of Chichester Academy Trust and the other schools in the Trust makes us happy to be a member of it. Students are at the centre of all we do here at Fernhurst. As a school, we are proud to have received our Silver Award and are committed to upholding the UNICEF Convention on the Rights of the Child. We expect all students to treat one another with courtesy and consideration, and we work to create a welcoming, all-encompassing learning environment that fosters the development of the whole person while also encouraging academic performance. We think that exceptional learning is given through an engaging and exciting curriculum, and that inspirational teaching will help students to push themselves to be the best that they can be. Lighting a fire of exploration, imagination, and curiosity should be the goal of learning. We collaborate with parents and the local community and have solid, encouraging community ties. We have access to a great forest school that enriches students' learning about the outside world, as well as a variety of extracurricular activities that provide a special emphasis on developing students' musical and athletic abilities. We hope you like browsing our website since we are proud of our school, its students, and its staff.
