From the Dunraven School
We were thrilled to be named a National Teaching School in 2016 because it recognised the work the school staff does to make teaching engaging and beneficial for our students.
Additionally, the OFSTED inspection in October 2014, which rated Dunraven as "excellent" in every category, served as a significant public milestone in our ongoing effort to realise "Excellence for All."
As we collaborate with others to create a "astonishing" school, our next goal is to make sure that Dunraven maintains these high standards. We do this by delivering excellence from Reception through Year 13 while collaborating with others.
Dunraven is a 4-through-18-year school.
We will have the first Year 6 cohort in our Primary phase in September 2019, completing our transition to an All Through school.
In addition to providing our children and their families with a special educational opportunity, this framework gives the school the possibility to develop an engaging and enriching learning environment for all of its students.
We are aware of the weighty responsibility that comes with being the Dunraven Educational Trust's founding school.
To provide the children in our community the best preparation for adulthood, we share the Trust's vision to 'Share Excellence' throughout all of our schools.
