A small, amiable, and close-knit village school, Dr. South's offers excellent pastoral care and individualised attention to each student.
Although we welcome students from outside our catchment area when space allows, the majority of our students come from the communities of Islip, Noke, and Woodeaton.
Students are very content at school.
For all of its students, the school has high academic standards.
It strives to develop a constructive and encouraging environment where each kid is respected and where work and achievement are acknowledged, fostered, and rewarded.
Staff members give the kids an extensive, varied, and relevant education that places a heavy emphasis on improving their reading, writing, and math skills in addition to a wide range of other learning activities and experiences aimed at helping them become well-rounded members of society. "Parents' active participation in school life is a great advantage, whether they serve as learning mentors during homework sessions, classroom volunteers, governors, or members of The Friends, a parent organisation that works really hard to generate money to improve the school's offerings.
The values of their school are strongly held in common by the faculty, parents, carers, and students." (We kindly ask that you browse our website further so that you can find out more specific details about the school.
