Welcome to the Sixth Form Max Povinelli and Toby Pickard, Year 13 photographers (Year 12). Since the vast majority of Year 11 students opt to continue their study with us, Dr. Challoner's has a sizable Sixth Form with over 400 pupils. In addition to these students we also welcome around 50-60 new students, from a range of schools, who quickly settle in and readily form a single cohesive student body with those students who have continued into the Sixth Form from Year 11. In order to accommodate this many students we have recently completed a new and impressive Sixth Form Centre which features outstanding study facilities, the Milton Library and a cafe run by Aspens called Social Kitchen. We provide a comprehensive and balanced curriculum to help Sixth Form students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to enter the workforce, an apprenticeship, or higher education. Students who are eager to put in a lot of effort and actively participate in school activities are welcome. Whether they are Oxbridge contenders, capable of earning several A*s, or diligent students, capable of earning three good A Level grades, we look forward to their realising their potential. Unavoidably, some students—internal and external—will find it difficult to transfer to A Level in one or more courses. Regardless of their background, Challoner's team has a plethora of expertise helping students make this move. We have a clear admissions policy that is available to view on our website. Because we are a popular choice for students, the school is always oversubscribed.
