Dordon is a well-liked and prosperous academy school at the centre of our village neighbourhood. We are founding members of "The Community Academy Trust," a newly established, expanding chain of academies sponsored by the DFE. Birchwood Primary School and The Polesworth School are two of the four schools now located in the academy's Northern Hub. Because of our strong working relationships and close proximity to one another, all of our schools are just five minutes apart from one another. Over 200 passionate and spirited kids make up our expanding school, and OFSTED has rated their behaviour as "excellent." Our welcoming students work diligently and with enthusiasm. They are extremely proud to be students at Dordon Primary School. Through their own School Council, students actively and enthusiastically contribute to improving school life. At all levels, we are proud of our devoted workforce. They take pride in their institution and have a significant influence on our students' outcomes. Our dedicated teachers, who have received high marks from OFSTED for their excellent instruction in inspection reports, are a dedicated and hard-working group who have good support from exceptional teaching assistants. It's a great environment to learn at our school. We compete in a lot of sports, singing, poetry, and artistic events, and occasionally we even succeed! The vast array of extracurricular activities we provide is supported by the bulk of our workforce. These include dancing, gardening club, playing the drums, football, and a variety of other entertaining activities.
